Bert Koopman (1959) studied Piano, Journalism and History. He has worked twenty years for Het Financiële Dagblad (the Dutch Financial Times) heading the Art department. As a historian he works on a thesis about post-war history of the Concertgebouw Orchestra from a business standpoint.
Theo Berkhout (1941) worked nearly fifty years in the catacombs of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. Initially as a painter but he worked his way to technical services, stage manager from the Dutch Chamber Orchestra and Concertgebouw Orchestra. He has worked with Bernard Haitink, Riccardo Chailly and Mariss Jansons and has managed several international tours. He is called the 'Godfather of the Concertgebouw Orchestra'.
