Hans Croiset

Hans Croiset (Amsterdam, 1935) started at seventy-five years of age his second career as a writer with his memoires Bathhouse Road. His first novel, Lucifer in Berlin, was published by Schöffling in Germany and followed by his novel Spring in Prague. Croiset was a stage actor from the age of seventeen and has been awarded multiple times. As director he brought twelve pieces of Vondel on stage, through which he learned to know the work from the inside out.
