Lize Spit (1988) lives in Brussels. She writes scenario’s, prose and poetry and was published in several literary magazines. She is a non-fiction author for an educational publisher, teaches scenario writing, and is a founding member of RAW, a social and work space available for young filmmakers and writers in Brussels. Lize won the Write Now! Competition in 2013 and is currently working on a feature film and a collection of poems. The Melting is her debut novel, which was immediately showered with praise in the Flemish and the Dutch press.
