Mariëtte Haveman (1957) is art historian and writer. She is the editor of the art magazine Kunstschrift. Previous publications include Studio Secrets, a collection of essays on the work place of artists from 1200 to now, and The Feast behind the curtains, a book on French Salon painting. In 2008 she wrote her debut novel Faye Finsbury's Photo which was succeeded in 2010 by her second novel called The Women Catcher. In 2015, her third novel, The House Behind the Willows, was published.
